Allemand Zwei kleine Kinder, Pyros und Erika, sind unerwartet in ein Wunderland namens „Wardner's Forest“ geraten. Beim Betreten des Zauberwaldes wird das junge Mädchen vom bösen Hexenmeister und Herrscher des Waldes, „Wardner“, in eine Kristallkugel verwandelt. Sie wird an einen geheimen Ort tief im Wald gebracht. Der tapfere junge Pyros, der nur mit einer magischen Flamme als Waffe bewaffnet ist, macht sich auf den Weg, um seine Begleiterin aus den Fängen des bösen Wardner zu befreien und sie sicher nach Hause zu bringen.
Am Ende jedes Levels betritt Pyros einen Laden. Der Spieler kann das unterwegs gesammelte Gold zum Kauf nützlicher Gegenstände verwenden; wie zusätzliche Gesundheit, Zeit und stärkere Waffen. Wardner ist ein gelungenes und spielbares Plattformspiel mit flüssiger, farbenfroher Grafik und ausgefeiltem Gameplay.

Anglais Two young children, Pyros and Erika, have unexpectedly strayed into a wonderland called 'Wardner's Forest'. Upon entering the magical forest, the young girl is changed into a crystal ball by evil warlock and ruler of the forest, 'Wardner'. She is taken to a secret place deep inside the woods. The brave young Pyros, armed only with a magical flame as a weapon, sets out to rescue his female companion from the clutches of the evil Wardner and bring her safely home.

At the end of every level, Pyros enters a shop. The player can use any gold that has been collected on route to buy useful items; such as extra health, time and more powerful weapons. Wardner is an accomplished and playable platform game with smooth, colourful graphics and finely honed gameplay.

Espagnol Dos niños pequeños, Pyros y Erika, se han adentrado inesperadamente en un país de las maravillas llamado "Bosque de Wardner". Al entrar en el bosque mágico, la joven es transformada en una bola de cristal por el malvado hechicero y gobernante del bosque,'Wardner'. La llevan a un lugar secreto en lo profundo del bosque. El valiente y joven Pyros, armado sólo con una llama mágica como arma, se propone rescatar a su compañera de las garras del malvado Wardner y llevarla a casa a salvo.
Al final de cada nivel, Pyros entra en una tienda. El jugador puede usar el oro que haya recogido en la ruta para comprar objetos útiles, como salud extra, tiempo y armas más poderosas. Wardner es un juego de plataforma completo y jugable con gráficos suaves y coloridos y una jugabilidad finamente perfeccionada.

Français Wardner ! Petit jeu de plateforme qui m'a couté une fortune à l'époque !

Bon le scénario n'est pas des plus original car notre petite copine à été enlevée (et oui c'est une grande tradition chez les méchants ^^), mais notre héros a l'avantage de pouvoir se développer au fur et à mesure de sa progression. Sur sa route il trouvera de quoi améliorer sa puissance de feu (entre autre augmenter le nombre de boule de feu qu'il peut envoyer en même temps), sa protection (une cape pour une erreur supplémentaire), du temps (hé oui les secondes s'égrainent vite, et si on ne fait pas attention on perd vite des vies ! ), et à chaque fin de niveau on a accès à une boutique qui permettra de dépenser les trésors récoltés.

Des tableaux assez différents pour ne pas s'ennuyer, il y a même des raccourcis cachés pour finir les tableaux plus rapidement ou attraper de bons items.

Attention toutefois, pour finir ce jeu il faut persévérer car le dernier niveau est bien balèze et il aura fallu bien développer son perso pour avoir une chance de le finir.

Un bon jeu qui m'a bien marqué et que je trouve aussi bon que Ghost and Goblins.

A savoir : une adaptation assez bonne existe sur Megadrive.

Italien Due bambini, Pyros ed Erika, si sono inaspettatamente allontanati in un paese delle meraviglie chiamato "Foresta di Wardner". Dopo essere entrata nella foresta magica, la giovane ragazza viene trasformata in una sfera di cristallo dal malvagio stregone e sovrano della foresta, "Wardner". Viene portata in un luogo segreto nel profondo del bosco. Il giovane e coraggioso Pyros, armato solo di una fiamma magica come arma, si propone di salvare la sua compagna dalle grinfie del malvagio Wardner e riportarla a casa sana e salva.
