Zu Beginn suchen sich Spieler aus 40 verschiedenen Rassen ein süßes Kätzlein aus. Wie im echten Leben will die Mieze dann mit Futter und Spielzeug versorgt, ausgiebig unterhalten sowie gestreichelt werden. Ebenso muss natürlich die Katzenstreu regelmäßig gewechselt werden. Zudem reagieren die Kätzchen auf die Aktionen der Spieler und entwickeln so ihre Persönlichkeit und Verhaltensmuster weiter.
