Allemand Ubik ist ein Science-Fiction-Strategie- und Action-Videospiel, das vom französischen Studio Cryo Interactive entwickelt und veröffentlicht wurde und 1998 in Frankreich auf dem PC und im Oktober 2000 auf der PlayStation erschien. Es spielt im Universum des gleichnamigen Romans des amerikanischen Autors Philip K. Dick.
Das Spiel findet 2019 in Los Angeles statt. Der Spieler übernimmt die Rolle von Joe Chip (der Hauptfigur des Romans), der für Runciter Associates arbeitet, ein Unternehmen, das sich auf industrielle Spionageabwehr und den Schutz von Industriegeheimnissen spezialisiert hat. Joe Chip muss ein Team von Agenten mit unterschiedlichen Fähigkeiten rekrutieren und leiten, von denen einige über kybernetische Implantate oder übersinnliche Kräfte verfügen.

Anglais Based on the novel UBIK from Philip K. Dick you are playing the main character from the book, called Joe Chip. You are working for a company called Runciter Associates in Los Angeles (in the year 2019) and your job is to protect companies against industrial spying from other companies. With genetic engineering and the development of replicants both sides have PSI-powers at hand to reach their targets.
In the game you lead, train and equip a squad of selected individuals (with various abilities; be it several kinds of weapon skills or PSI) through 3D-realtime rendered maps (UBIK may have been the first RTSG using a 3D engine) where you sometimes can interact with your environment or even talk to some individuals.

Trabajas para una empresa llamada Runciter Associates en Los Ángeles (en el año 2019) y tu trabajo consiste en proteger a las empresas contra el espionaje industrial de otras empresas. Con la ingeniería genética y el desarrollo de replicantes, ambos bandos disponen de poderes PSI para alcanzar sus objetivos.
En el juego diriges, entrenas y equipas a un escuadrón de individuos seleccionados (con diversas habilidades; ya sean varios tipos de habilidades de armas o PSI) a través de mapas renderizados en 3D en tiempo real (UBIK puede haber sido el primer RTSG que utilizó un motor 3D) donde a veces puedes interactuar con tu entorno o incluso hablar con algunos individuos.
