Synopsis
Synopsis
Languages Information Proposed by
Anglais Gendai Daisenryaku is another installment from the System Soft stable of turn-based wargames. This iteration involves modern warfare, giving the player command in crises around the world, some historical such as the Iraq war, but more often depicting a hypothetical conflict somewhere.

It plays a bit differently than Dai Senryaku VII and Exceed which were localized for English speaking players. Here of course you'll deal with making sense of the Japanese to make a game of it. The Campaign is problematic in that respect but the individual Scenarios should be quite manageable for veterans of DSVII/Exceed. Another plus for those who don't read Kanji is the use of graphical symbols in sub-menus within the unit orders list. So for example, clicking on a target bull's eye to fire weapons or a fuel can to resupply is quite intuitive.
