Anglais A strategy game base upon the popular Wing Commander Universe. This game sees you in command of either the Terran or Kilrathi empires in a bid to conquer a sector of space. This game provided 2 distinct modes of play with Armada being entirely tactically based and a far easier quick play method much like the mission creation facilities of Chuck Yegar's Air Combat of 5 years previous.

This game also featured multi-player support both in Quick play and Armada modes. The game could be played either in split-screen, network, serial or modem modes and was one of the first multi-player 3D space sims.

Français Un jeu de stratégie basé sur l'univers populaire de Wing Commander. Dans ce jeu, vous prenez les commandes de l'empire terran ou kilrathi dans le but de conquérir un secteur de l'espace. Ce jeu propose deux modes de jeu distincts : Armada, entièrement basé sur la tactique, et un mode rapide beaucoup plus facile, similaire aux fonctionnalités de création de missions de Chuck Yegar's Air Combat, sorti cinq ans plus tôt.

Ce jeu proposait également un mode multijoueur dans les modes Quick Play et Armada. Il pouvait être joué en mode écran partagé, réseau, série ou modem, et fut l'un des premiers simulateurs spatiaux 3D multijoueurs.
