Allemand Kevin McAllister ist ohne seine Eltern in New York City angekommen. Er quartiert sich in einem Hotel ein und beginnt, sich zu amüsieren. Es dauert nicht lange, bis das Hotel entdeckt, dass er gestohlene Kreditkarten benutzt und beginnt, ihn zu jagen! Zu allem Überfluss sind auch noch Harry und Marv, die Einbrecher, die er einst besiegt hat, in der Stadt und wollen sich rächen.

Home Alone 2 ist ein Side-Scroller, der lose auf dem gleichnamigen Film basiert. In der Rolle von Kevin McAllister muss der Spieler über Feinde und Hindernisse springen und dabei Gegenstände einsammeln. Zu diesen Gegenständen gehören Gesundheitsboni und eine Vielzahl von Waffen. Verliert Kevin seine gesamte Gesundheit oder wird er "erwischt", kostet das ein Leben. Der Spieler hat zu Beginn des Spiels drei Leben zur Verfügung.

Anglais Loosely based on the film of the same name, Kevin McAllister has arrived in New York City without his parents. However he checks himself into a hotel and begins to have fun. It isn't long before the hotel discovers he's using stolen credit cards and begin to chase him around! On top of that, Harry and Marv the burglars he once defeated, are in town and looking for revenge.

Home Alone 2 is a side scroller. Controlling Kevin McAllister, the player will need to jump over enemies and obstacles while collecting items. These items include health bonuses and a variety of weapons. Losing all of Kevin's health or being "caught" will cost a life. The player starts with three lives for play.

Les deux compères et malandrins Harry et Marv sont également de la partie pour se venger de l'enfant. Le jeu se déroule en défilement horizontal et vous devrez sauter au-dessus des obstacles pour progresser dans l'hôtel.
