Allemand Vier Jahre sind vergangen seit Dart seine Heimat verließ und sich auf die Suche nach dem Schwarzen Monster machte, das seine Eltern und seinen Geburtsort Neet vernichtet hat. Als er durch einen Wald im Gebiet Serdio spaziert, stößt er versehentlich auf eine Reitergruppe, die ihm äußert seltsam vorkommt - anscheinend sind sie Krieger von einer Armee, aber was tun sie hier? Die Unangenehme Begegnung ist gerade dabei auszuarten, als ein scheinbares Erdbeben die Auseinandersetzung stört. Plötzlich schießt ein Drachenkopf aus den Baumkronen und seine gigantischen Beine trampeln beinahe Dart nieder. Die Reiter verschwinden sofort und Dart rennt davon. Als es letztlich sehr knapp wird und der Drache Dart fast eingeholt hat, wird Dart von einer Unbekannten in dunklen Kleidern gerettet, die ihn über den Überfall auf sein Heimatdorf informiert. Ohne zu zögern bricht Dart auf nach Seles - aber schon von weit her sind die Spuren der Verwüstung nicht zu übersehen. Im Dorf angekommen besiegt Dart die übrig gebliebenen Soldaten und erfährt, dass seine Freundin Shana ins Gefängnis Hellena entführt wurde. Völlig ahnungslos und geschockt beschließt Dart, der mysteriösen Geschichte nachzugehen...

Italien Sono passati quattro anni da quando Dart ha lasciato la sua casa ed è andato alla ricerca del mostro nero che ha distrutto i suoi genitori e il suo luogo di nascita Neet. Mentre cammina attraverso una foresta nella zona di Serdio, incontra accidentalmente un gruppo di cavalieri che trova estremamente strani - apparentemente sono guerrieri di un esercito, ma cosa ci fanno qui? Lo spiacevole incontro sta per degenerare quando un apparente terremoto disturba la discussione. All'improvviso una testa di drago spunta dalle cime degli alberi e le sue gambe gigantesche quasi calpestano i dardi. I corridori scompaiono immediatamente e Dart scappa. Quando finalmente si avvicina molto e il drago ha quasi raggiunto Dart, Dart viene salvato da uno sconosciuto in abiti scuri che lo informa dell'attacco al suo villaggio natale. Senza esitazione, Dart parte per Seles, ma le tracce della devastazione non possono essere trascurate da lontano. Una volta nel villaggio, Dart sconfigge i soldati rimasti e scopre che la sua ragazza Shana è stata rapita nella prigione di Hellena. Completamente ignaro e scioccato, Dart decide di indagare sulla misteriosa storia ...
