Anglais Four new racing series have been added for this year; in addition to NEXTEL cup cars, players can race in the Featherlite Modified, Craftsman Truck, Nascar National (Busch), or production car series. Each type of car has its own unique feel and gives a different on-track experience. Real-life driver rivalries and confrontations are brought into the game with the enhanced grudges and alliances system. Computer drivers will remember whether you drive naughty or nice, and will payback favors in kind. The new Intimidator feature allows you to shake up an opponent by getting behind him and putting on the pressure.

In fight to the top mode, players can follow the career of their driver by starting in the Modified series and working their way up the NASCAR ranks.

Français Quatre nouvelles séries de courses ont été ajoutées cette année ; en plus des voitures de la NEXTEL Cup, les joueurs peuvent participer aux séries Featherlite Modified, Craftsman Truck, Nascar National (Busch) ou Production Car. Chaque type de voiture offre des sensations uniques et une expérience différente sur la piste. Les rivalités et les confrontations entre pilotes réels sont intégrées au jeu grâce au système amélioré de rivalités et d'alliances. Les pilotes informatiques se souviendront si vous conduisez de manière fair-play ou déloyale, et vous rendront la pareille. La nouvelle fonctionnalité Intimidator vous permet de déstabiliser un adversaire en vous plaçant derrière lui et en lui mettant la pression.

Dans le mode « Fight to the Top », les joueurs peuvent suivre la carrière de leur pilote en commençant dans la série Modified et en gravissant les échelons de la NASCAR.
