Anglais Super Daisenryaku is one of many titles in SystemSoft's long-running series of war strategy games. The game mechanics are based on Daisenryaku II, but many of the included maps are unique to this version. There is no campaign mode, and all included maps can be played. Some maps are designed for two players, others for four, and all maps can be played with any combination of human and computer players. The computer versions also have an editor.

The game is played on a large map consisting of hexagonal spaces, each consisting of one of the included terrain types. Each player controls a number of units, each of which occupies a space on the grid. The unit types are mostly based on real military equipment from the time of the game's release.
