Allemand Dead Nation ist ein Shooter aus der Draufsicht, der in einer fiktiven Umgebung nach einer Zombie-Apokalypse spielt. Die Spieler wählen zwischen Jack McReady und Scarlett Blake, die gerade dabei sind, ihren Unterschlupf auf der Suche nach Nahrung und Vorräten zu verlassen. Das Spiel findet ein Jahr nach dem Ausbruch eines Virus statt, der die meisten Menschen in Zombies verwandelt hat. Beide Charaktere sind gegen den Stamm des Virus immun. Im Kampagnenmodus kommen sie durch eine Reihe von Ereignissen mit Dr. Morton von der Egogate-Apotheke in Kontakt, der an einem Heilmittel arbeitet, aber ihre Hilfe benötigt. Die Charaktere müssen für ihn bestimmte Gegenstände sammeln und verschiedene Orte wie eine Polizeistation, eine verseuchte Straße, ein Krankenhaus, einen Friedhof, einen Rangierbahnhof und Hafenkais durchqueren, wobei es insgesamt zehn Levels gibt.

Anglais Dead Nation is a top-down shooter set in a fictional environment after a zombie apocalypse. Players choose between Jack McReady and Scarlett Blake who are about to leave their shelter in search of food and supplies. The game takes place a year after the outbreak of a virus that has turned most humans into zombies. Both characters are immune to the strain of virus. In campaign mode, a series of events brings them into contact with Dr Morton from the Egogate pharmacy, who is working on a cure but needs their help. Characters must collect certain items for him and traverse various locations such as a police station, an infested street, a hospital, a cemetery, a marshalling yard and harbour docks, with ten levels in all.

No modo campanha, uma série de acontecimentos coloca-os em contacto com o Dr. Morton da farmácia Egogate, que está a trabalhar numa cura, mas precisa da ajuda deles. As personagens têm de recolher certos objectos para ele e atravessar vários locais, como uma esquadra da polícia, uma rua infestada, um hospital, um cemitério, um parque de triagem e docas do porto, com dez níveis no total.
