Anglais Set in the American West of the 1880s, Freddy Pharkas was one of the fastest guns in the west. However in one particular gunfight with an outlaw named Kenny he was outgunned and Freddy had his ear shot off. This traumatic experience caused Freddy to give up his pistols and enroll in the school of pharmacology. Blocking out the memories of his past, Freddy arrives in the town of Corsegold with the dream to own and run his own pharmacy. Working with the town's doctor, Freddy is able to fill prescriptions, mix concoctions and diagnose simple symptoms. Business among the townsfolk is brisk however, the good times are not to last as suddenly townsfolk are run out of town and businesses are being foreclosed and boarded up. Freddy must deal with the town's problems, and discover the larger plot, or risk having a fancy shop in an empty town and losing all his customers.

Todo le iba a bien a Freddy en su vida como pistolero hasta que en su camino se cruzó un misterioso forajido de nombre Kenny el Niño que, en un duelo limpio, voló su dignidad y su oreja de un certero disparo. Fue en ese momento cuando Freddy decidió dejar las pistolas a un lado, dedicarse a estudiar para llegar a ser un prometedor farmacéutico y comenzar una nueva vida en Coarseguld, un pueblo fronterizo al que llegó después de titularse, dejando a un lado su pasado en tierras hostiles, abriendo una farmacia e incluso teniendo la oportunidad de emparejarse con una bella maestra de escuela, de nombre Penélope?nnLa suerte parecía volver a sonreírle al bueno de Pharkas, hasta que los problemas empiezan de nuevo: de la noche a la mañana el sheriff local cierra su farmacia y un buen número de locales del pueblo.
Français Freddy Pharkas, pharmacien dans la petite ville de Coarsegold mène une vie paisible, entre les ordonnances illisibles du toubib Gillepsie et les rendez-vous galants avec la belle et hautaine Pénélope. Freddy, usant de son astuce et de ses connaissances en pharmacologie décide de sauver la ville, quitte à faire resurgir son obscur passé de pistolero virtuose...
