Allemand „Space Crusade“ ist ein Science-Fiction-Strategiespiel, das auf dem gleichnamigen Brettspiel von Games Workshop/Milton Bradley basiert. Sie steuern einen Kommandanten und vier Marines, die auf verschiedene Missionen an Bord feindlicher außerirdischer Raumschiffe geschickt werden. Ihr Kommandant startet als Sergeant und kann im Rang aufsteigen. Bis zu drei Spieler können je ein Marinekapitel befehligen, während das außerirdische Team vom Computer gesteuert wird. Das Spiel ist eine genaue Umsetzung des Brettspiels und wird rundenbasiert gespielt. Ziel ist es, primäre und sekundäre Missionsziele zu erreichen, oft durch die Eliminierung aller Feinde oder die Zerstörung eines Mutterschiffs. Ein besonderes Feature sind 3D-Nahaufnahmen während der Kämpfe, ähnlich späteren Spielen wie der X-Com-Serie.

Anglais Space Crusade is a science fiction strategy game converted from the Games Workshop/Milton Bradley boardgame, in which you control a commander and four marines who are sent on different missions aboard hostile alien starships. Your commander starts off as a sergeant, but he can work his way through the ranks. The game allows three players, each commanding one marine chapter each. The alien team is `played` by the computer.

The game is a literal conversion of the board game in the same vein as Gremlin's earlier Hero Quest. It can be best described as a turn-based board game in which the player must fulfill the primary and secondary objectives to complete the mission, which usually involves elimination of entire alien force on board or destruction of mothership etc. This game features unique 3D close-ups during the battle scenes, a feature which was later adopted by games like the X-Com series.
Français Space Crusade sur Amiga est l'adaptation du jeu de plateau du même nom. Le soft est basé sur des tours de jeu de stratégie où les joueurs prennent le contrôle d'un Space Marine. Après avoir choisi une mission, les marines doivent être équipés et les commandes doivent être choisies.
