Allemand Die Super-Nintendo-Version von A Bug's Life ist eine inoffizielle (Bootleg-)Veröffentlichung, die von der Mega-Drive-Version abgeleitet wurde. Sie behält dieselben Levels bei, verändert jedoch die Steuerung und das Verhalten der Spielfigur: Mit A wird gesprungen, B dient zum Rennen, und sowohl X als auch Y werden zum Werfen von Beeren verwendet.

Das Gameplay reagiert weniger direkt und erfordert eine allmähliche Beschleunigung, um die Höchstgeschwindigkeit zu erreichen. Außerdem folgt der Beerenwurf einer höheren Flugbahn, was es schwieriger macht, bestimmte Gegner zu treffen. In Hang By a Thread ist es möglich, sich mit Dim schneller zu bewegen, indem man A gedrückt hält. Im letzten Level besitzt der Endgegner Hopper andere Flugmuster und beginnt in seiner letzten Phase, den Spieler zu verfolgen.

Anglais The Super Nintendo version of A Bug's Life is an unofficial (bootleg) release derived from the Mega Drive version. It keeps the same levels, but changes the controls and character behavior: A is used to jump, B to run, and both X and Y to throw berries. The gameplay is less responsive, requiring gradual acceleration to reach top speed, and the berry throw follows a higher arc, making it harder to hit certain enemies. In Hang By a Thread, it is possible to move faster with Dim by holding A. In the final level, the boss Hopper has different flight patterns and, in his last phase, starts chasing the player. Visually, it preserves the graphics with minor touch-ups, but includes sprite inconsistencies (such as the berry changing style during its animation). The audio uses a sound driver reused from Bonkers, and the backgrounds do not scroll. The intro is also different, showing Flik repeatedly flying on a dandelion seed.

Ela mantém as mesmas fases, mas altera controles e comportamento do personagem: A é usado para pular, B para correr e X/Y para arremessar berries. A jogabilidade é menos responsiva, exigindo aceleração gradual para atingir velocidade máxima, e o arremesso das berries ocorre em trajetória mais alta, dificultando acertar alguns inimigos. Em Hang By a Thread, é possível mover-se mais rápido com Dim ao segurar A. No último nível, o chefe Hopper apresenta padrões de voo diferentes e, em sua etapa final, passa a perseguir o jogador. Graficamente, preserva o visual com pequenos retoques, mas apresenta inconsistências em sprites (como mudança de estilo da berry durante a animação). O áudio utiliza um driver reaproveitado de Bonkers, e os cenários não possuem rolagem de fundo. A introdução também é distinta, mostrando Flik voando repetidamente em uma semente de dente-de-leão.
