Allemand Unter Animationsstudios besteht eine Verbindung zu einem Bereich, der als „Toon World“ bekannt ist. Diese Welt wird natürlich von Cartoons bewohnt. Die Dreharbeiten erfolgen in der Toon-Welt und werden dann zur Bearbeitung und Produktion in die reale Welt geschickt, wodurch die Langeweile und die Kosten der Animation reduziert werden. Allerdings steht die Animationsbranche durch neue computergenerierte Animationstechniken unter starkem Druck. Um die traditionelle Cel-Animation wiederzubeleben, wird Studio SPUMCO einen Zeichentrickfilm erstellen, der auf „Extreme Skating“ basiert. Und so beginnen die Vorsprechen in der Toon-Welt.
Die Charaktere sind allesamt Cel-Shaded-Charaktere und überwiegend Anthropomorphismen. Sie steuern einen von ihnen durch acht große Sets, um zu versuchen, für den Cartoon ausgewählt zu werden. Sie sammeln Punkte, indem Sie das tun, was Sie in jedem Skateboard-Spiel tun würden: Schleifen, Springen und die üblichen Ticks. Allerdings gibt es hier eine Wendung. Da Sie ein Cartoon sind, können Sie Punkte sammeln, indem Sie geköpft, zerquetscht werden und andere bekannte animierte Possen ausführen. Anglais SPUMCO is holding auditions for an upcoming action feature called Hypergrind, in which the main character will be an animated skateboarder capable of performing wild tricks. As the character of your choice, you'll enroll in SPUMCO's newly founded stunt school where you'll compete against other outrageous characters while pulling off fantastic tricks on eight movie sets. The one to graduate at the top of the class earns the right to star in the upcoming show. How well you perform during the audition process and in stunt school will determine how lucrative a contract you're offered.
