Anglais What the world needs is a hero. In Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs, play as Flint, hero-inventor of the action-packed movie, who creates a machine that causes food to rain from the sky. When the machine spirals out of control and creates a mess of gigantic "portions," it's up to you to save the world by using every vehicle and crazy gadget Flint has invented to save his hometown and the world from a food-tastrophe! Hurl hamburgers, sling spaghetti, and fight gummi bears with Flint and his pet monkey Steve to save the world.

Français Tempête de Boulettes Géantes sur Nintendo DS est l'adaptation vidéoludique du film d'animation éponyme, lui-même tiré d'un livre pour enfants. Le joueur incarne Flint Lockwood, inventeur d'une machine à dupliquer la nourriture qui fait pleuvoir les aliments sur la ville, risquant ainsi de la submerger. A travers 20 niveaux différents, Flint doit utiliser ses nombreux gadgets pour retourner la situation.
Italien Flint Lockwood è un giovane inventore che sogna di costruire qualcosa che migliori la vita di tutti. E in effetti, quando crea il RCDDSMFL (Replicacibo diatonico-dinamico supermutante di Flint Lockwood) sembra proprio che ci sia riuscito: dell'ottimo cibo piove miracolosamente dal cielo! Tuttavia ciò che all'inizio sembrava una manna per la sua città natale, Civita Gustosa, ben presto si trasforma in un disastro di pro-"porzioni" gigantesche. Ora Flint dovrà usare ogni bizzarra invenzione a sua disposizione per salvare il mondo da una catastrofe gastronomica!
