Anglais The story follows a girl from a small town in Aizu, who grew up as the only daughter of a dojo. After her father abandons the family to pursue his swordsmanship dreams, she closes the dojo and, with her mother's help, serves the Aizu clan in Edo. When her mother remarries, the girl takes her place at the clan's residence and realizes that her father's dreams of becoming a swordsman have become her own. She confides in Teruhime, the sister-in-law of the Aizu clan's lord, who helps her join the Mibu Roshi, a group of swordsmen under the Aizu clan's protection. Despite being a woman, the girl travels to Kyoto to pursue a life as a swordswoman, and the Mibu Roshi would later become the famous Shinsengumi.
