So entsteht ein natürliches, intuitives und realistisches Spielerlebnis. Beim Tennis greifst du die Wii-Fernbedienung wie einen Tennisschläger und schwingst ihn. Das Spiel registriert Vorhand, Rückhand, Volley, Lob, Slice, Effet und Kraft - abhängig davon wie schnell und in welchem Winkel du dein virtuelles Racket schwingst. Beim Baseball greifst du die Wii-Fernbedienung wie einen Baseballschläger und schlägst beim Homerun-Derby Bälle aus dem Stadion.Beim Golf gehst du an den Abschlag, hältst die Wii-Fernbedienung wie einen Golfschläger und schwingst ihn ganz natürlich, um den Ball aufs Grün zu befördern. Beim Bowling hebst du die Wii-Fernbedienung hoch wie eine Bowlingkugel und schwingst danch deinen Arm, um die Kugel zu rollen. Beim Boxen dienen der Nunchuk und die Wii-Fernbedienung quasi als Handschuhe. Du kannst deinem Gegner ausweichen und natürlich auch Schläge austeilen.Der Spieler kann seine eigenen Mii-Karikaturen im Spiel benutzen und damit gegen die Miis seiner Freunde spielen. Wenn der Spieler sich verbessert, nehmen auch die Fähigkeiten seines Miis zu. So kann man jederzeit nachvollziehen, wie viel besser man geworden ist.
