Synopsis
 English 		The game is based on the concept of networked thinking: Instead of simple linear cause-and-effect, every action has ripple effects across multiple sectors. Players manage 9 interconnected variables, including Production, Environmental Quality, Quality of Life, Population and Action Points. Your objective is to reach a stable state where the system can sustain itself. If you focus too much on production, pollution destroys the environment. If you focus only on the environment, the economy crashes and people lose their quality of life. Each turn, you receive a certain number of action points based on the current state of your nation. You must decide where to invest these points to influence the system's direction. Unlike SimCity, which focuses on urban planning, Ökolopoly is a pure cybernetic model. It was designed as an educational tool to teach players that you cannot change just one thing in a complex system: Everything is connected.
