Synopsis
 English 		Peter Pilot already clearly shows the direction that Arcade Pilot would later take, and it also delivers brisk shooter action with a changeable flight direction. That approach adds movement to the action and gives the game an interesting twist that stands out right away. At the same time, its weaknesses are already noticeable here as well, since the single-life setup and rather uneven controls make the game feel harsher than necessary. As a result, Peter Pilot comes across as an early but fairly solid preview that already reveals both the strengths and the problems of the later full version.

Synopsis
 German 		Peter Pilot zeigt bereits klar die Richtung, in die Arcade Pilot später gehen sollte, und liefert ebenfalls flotte Shooter-Action mit wechselbarer Flugrichtung. Dieser Ansatz bringt Bewegung ins Geschehen und verleiht dem Spiel einen interessanten Kniff, der sofort auffällt. Gleichzeitig sind aber auch hier schon die Schwächen spürbar, denn das einzige Leben und die eher durchwachsene Steuerung machen das Spiel schnell unnötig hart. So wirkt Peter Pilot wie ein früher, durchaus solider Vorgeschmack, der die Stärken und Probleme der späteren Vollversion schon deutlich erkennen lässt.
